Nexium 24HR Medicine is anesomeprazole 24 hour Heartburn Reliefmedication that is used to treat acute heart failure. This medicine containsIt is used to treat frequent heartburn in patients who are at least twice the age of the onset of heartburn that occurs in the 2nd and 3rd decade of life. It also helps to treat acute heart failure symptoms such as wheezing or shortness of breath, and the symptoms of acute heart failure may persist for a number of days after heartburn has completely gone. This medicine may also be used in combination with other heartburn treatments (e.g. exercise, fluid loss, and fluid-supplementing) to treat a patient who is not responding to other treatments. This medication should not be used in patients who are at high risk of kidney damage, or who are taking other medications that may increase the risk of kidney problems. This medicine may decrease the amount of sodium that is distributed through the body. This medicine may cause loss of appetite, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting. This medicine may also increase the levels of certain other heartburn medications such as omeprazole (Prilosec), esomeprazole (Nexium), esomeprazole and esomeprazole/nexiazole (Nexzium) tablets, as well as sucralfate (Carafate) and lansoprazole (Alclofen).
Dose is based on the type of heartburn that is being treated. Esomeprazole is taken twice daily for 14 days. Nexium is taken once daily for 3 days. The recommended dose is 40 mg once daily. The dose of medicine for a patient who is not responding to other heartburn treatments may be increased to 60 mg once daily based on the response of the patient. This medicine is not recommended for patients who are taking antacids to treat a patient who has heartburn. It is also important to take this medicine with a full glass of water. Esomeprazole may be taken with or without food.

Nexium, Prilosec, Zegerid, and Zejakopan (esomeprazole) are prescription drugs used to treat reflux or heartburn. They also are used for the long-term relief of acid regurgitation (flow back into the stomach after a meal), and to prevent or treat gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD). Learn more about.
Acid reflux is a condition in which stomach acid flows back into the esophagus (g Typhoid) and causes symptoms such as persistent or severe stomach pain, bloating, and distension, which may need to be treated (in adults, the symptoms can range from mild to severe and may range from mild to severe). The symptoms of acid reflux can persist even after treatment stops. Symptoms of acid reflux can include pain, distension, and heartburn. If you have acid reflux, get medical help right away (prescription drugs like Zejakopan are available over-the-counter).
Dosage and direction
Take one tablet in the morning, 1 hour before meals or after dinner. Take the drug on an empty stomach, with or without food. The dosage depends on how serious acid reflux is and how long symptoms last. If symptoms persist after 2 weeks of treatment, call your doctor or health care professional. Do not take more than 4 tablets in a 24-hour period.

Acid reflux can make your stomach feel full for hours. It can make it hard to open the stomach and swallow. If you feel your stomach is not full, do not take any extra food or drink more than the recommended amount. Call your doctor or health care professional right away if you have reflux or have symptoms of acid reflux like persistent or severe stomach pain, bloating, and distension.
